Scott Kinabalu Enduro First Look

Scott Kinabalu Enduro

Scott Kinabalu Enduro Trail Running ShoesThe Scott Kinabalu Supertrac are my current favourite trail shoes so I was very happy to see these beauties in the Scott 2016 lineup.

These look perfect to fill the gap where the Supertrac is just too much of a shoe for the conditions and you are looking for something that will handle less extreme conditions.

According the the Scott website the ‘Scott Kinabalu Enduro takes its name after the famous bike racing discipline. This is the first shoe ever developed with that “All mountain” approach in mind. Its comfort driven technologies will allow you to enjoy an easy outing on a smooth and rolling single track just as much as a fast blast with friends down technical terrain.’

Featuring the technologies that make the Supertrac such a great trail shoe and now introducing a Vibram megagrip outsole they promise to grip on both wet and dry conditions and offer unrivalled stability and flexibility for ground adaptation.

We will have a pair of these bright yellow beauties on test in the near future so keep an eye out for an in depth review soon.

  1. I still have to question though, why so heavy? My only point of question on the excellent Kinabalu Supertrac was the weight. Here Scott have beefed up the Kinabalu and made it bullet proof, it s obviously way to early to tell but on first impressions, if you want a shoe to last and get value for money from, this may be the one!
